Manduzkic Ready To Join AC Milan In January Transfer

With a six-month deal until June 2021, AC Milan is set to add Mario Mandzukic to its ranks with an option to expand for another year.

The issues with older football veterans are the unwillingness to get long-term contracts due to a decrease in their performance—especially strikers who would have reduced their target returns.

Croatia’s international striker Mario Mandzukic was signed by Duhail on a free transfer from Italy’s Serie A Juventus Championship.

Mandžukić terminated his contract with the Qatari side by mutual consent after ten appearances and two goals overall.

After joining them from Spain’s Atletico Madrid in 2014, Mandzukic scored 44 goals in 162 matches in all competitions for Juventus.

Among other clubs, he has previously played for German sides Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg.

On an initial 6-month contract, Milan will take the World Cup runner up with an option to extend the same contract that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is enjoying at 39 at the San Siro.
